In November 2025, Brazil will host COP30 in Belém, Pará, marking a historic moment that places the country and the Amazon region at the center of global climate negotiations. As one of the world’s largest emerging economies, Brazil will play a key role in advancing global efforts toward climate resilience, energy transition, and sustainable development.

The conference will feature a rich agenda of themed days. Discussions will cover topics such as adaptation, resilient infrastructure, circular economy, bioeconomy, climate justice, education, energy transition, carbon markets, biodiversity, Indigenous leadership, sustainable food systems, and the role of science and artificial intelligence in climate governance.

ANBIMA is committed to ensuring that the Brazilian financial and capital markets contribute meaningfully to the climate agenda. Through structured initiatives aligned with the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals, we engage the market in climate risk awareness, capacity building, and international cooperation on sustainable finance.
