Organized by Anbima, CNseg (Brazilian Insurance Confederation), and Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks), the forum brings together banks, asset managers, brokers, insurers, and investors to strengthen the role of Brazil’s financial sector in the transition to a low-carbon economy. With participation from regulators, business leaders, and international partners, the event will focus on innovative solutions and cross-sector collaboration. World Climate Summit & The Investment COP

Now in its 16th edition, the World Climate Summit & The Investment COP arrives in Belém as the largest business-focused event of COP30. Organized by the World Climate Foundation and supported institutionally by Anbima, the summit highlights investment as a key lever for the transition to a low-carbon economy. The event will gather investors, banks, asset managers, companies, and international policymakers to discuss sustainable finance, climate innovation, and capital opportunities for green solutions.

Participants include representatives from banks, insurers, asset managers, and public authorities, reinforcing the commitment of Brazil’s financial system to sustainable development and climate finance mobilization.

Closing Session: The Road to COP30

Throughout 2025, the Road to COP30 initiative—led by Anbima, CNseg, and Febraban—helped prepare professionals from financial institutions and insurers to understand the climate-related risks and opportunities shaping the future. The program included free online workshops and in-person events focused on governance, finance, emissions, and transition plans. The initiative culminates with an in-person closing session during the COP30 conference in Belém, bringing together market participants committed to climate action.
