Innovation Network Initiative

Launched in 2024, the Anbima Innovation Network is a collaborative platform connecting financial market professionals with the innovation ecosystem to explore emerging technologies and trends. The network is part of ANBIMA’s strategic agenda and focuses on three pillars: curating trends, fostering connections, and developing solutions for the investment industry.

A key focus is artificial intelligence (AI), with two dedicated knowledge tracks:

  • Discovery AI, designed for the fund management industry to tackle sector-specific challenges

  • AI Journey, open to the broader market, offering workshops, training sessions, and showcases to help institutions adopt AI in their operations

In addition, Anbima has published a comprehensive guide (available in Portuguese) to support companies in implementing AI systems responsibly. This guide provides ethical guidelines, identifies trends, and outlines key applications and risks associated with AI. Anbima emphasizes the importance of responsible AI use, aligning with OECD principles and advocating for robust governance structures and stakeholder education.

Through these efforts, Anbima aims to lead the digital transformation of Brazil’s capital markets, leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, drive innovation, and ensure the ethical and responsible use of the technology.
